I know Wednesday is usually a Boon pick day, but I'm still having trouble finding the CD that he recommended, so we are gonna hold off until I do.... So in the meantime I'd like to introduce you to The Pains of Being Pure at Heart out of NYC... they released their self titled debut back in february, and as the name suggests the music is emo, but more in the Cure/Smiths kind of emo way, not in the crappy dashboard way... very Curish riffs... very 80s sound... which is all the rave this year. If they bring the flock of seagulls hair back, I might have to quit.
