This song and this band make me Happy. Its really hard not to compare Downbeat 5 to Joan Jett and the Runaways or the Ramones... They have that garage pop punk sound that feeds off the 50s and 60s rockabilly and hairspray sound. Very Much like the Detroit Cobras... and you know my weakness for girls with big... voices. and Jenny D can wail.
Yeah, its a cover of the Shangrilas, but its acurrate of their sound.
