That quite possibly was my worst headline ever. but it had to be done. Sorry guys. Regardless Harlem is based out of Austin, but formed in Nashville. Austin is like a foster parent for stray bands... it will nurture you till you are ready to find yourself and go out into the world... like ohio's Heartless Bastards, or Dallas's Strange Boys. But I digress... so yeah, I guess you could call their sound garage pop... they call it thrash punk covered in bbq sauce. I say its retro-garage. And I can hear a Pixies influence. Regardless, its good. The new album is called free drugs;-)
